Those of us who bought the REALLY BIG LIGHTS (or whatever they are called) will need some rectangular 3-LED pixels. I think they come in groups of 100. I need 200 and I think Paul needs 300. I might also buy 300 because after seeing Sam's globes with 8 rectangles in each, my plan for 5 might not be enough. Maybe at least 6.

I also need some 100 bulb pixels strings with pigtails on both ends. I need to count how many .. but around 1500.
    Thanks,

@kidcole are you planning a Ray order? I could use a handful of things.

You may want to checkout a post on diychristmas. They are using a P456V24D pixels, it is 24 volt.
For some reason I can't attach it
If it fell out of the sky I didn't work on it.

Excellent. I'll take a look. I'd love to run some 24v pixels. 150 or more in a single run with no power injection ! Sometimes they are quite expensive tho .. I'll check it out.

I searched around and could not find the discussion. Got scores of posts by using 24v pixels in the search. Then tried the pixel number you gave .. got no hits on that. Can you give me more of the keywords in the title of the discussion ?

Thanks .. I was looking in the posts only. Coincidentally I am reworking 30 of the REALLY BIG LIGHTS. I am putting 5 rectangular 3-LED pixels in each.

I found it. There are a bunch of mods in progress for the REALLY BIG LIGHTS. And yours is one of many being shown. So I am making up a demo for the TASL meeting on Feb 11th so we can compare the different solutions. Here is the video that you were talking about:

He made this mod his with the 6 LED 24V round disks. I hope to make up one of these for the TASL meeting, but I need to figure out how to do it without cutting off the holder, because several of the other mods need the light holder. Here's the one you are talking about:

Then there's the guy who made his with 7 pixel string nodes. This one could be a one of the strongest:

I also like this one with 4 rectangular pixels and this one can get more effects than just solid colors.

I have already made up a demo using 5 of the 3-LED rectangles. So this might be a step brighter that the one above with 4. I love this style because the 1/2" PVC just snaps right in. We'll see what I come up with at the TASL meeting.
    Thanks,

I'll most likely have an order for Holiday Light Express and Ray Wu this year. Might get one or two items from Holiday Coro, but not yet sure on that. Just starting preliminary design work for next year.
    2014: Lights - 75,000; Channels - 500 Renard AC, 75 Renard DC, 10,000 Pixels; Vixen 3.0

For those of you that like the Mean Well power supplies there is a fairly new kid on the block. I don't know how good these prices are so someone comment. What I see on Amazon and other sites for a 350w like most of us use they are about $35 to $45.
Holiday.Lighting has them in the pre-sale for $28 (+$3 if you want a 6' cord too).

    The site is https://holiday.lighting/2017presale.

From their XLights Facebook posting - Here at Holiday Lighting it's time to get your Pre-sale on. If you are not familiar with us we are fairly new (1.5yr) and are your source for Mean Well power supplies.

The pre-sale has started and runs through 2/19/2017 with expected shipment before 3/19/2017.
