Good point Al, I didn't think of that. I heard it was over3 bucks a pound now.

    Current count:

    Scott.......3000
    Dariusz....1000
    Bruce.......1000
    Vic...........1000

    Total .......6000

Final 24 hours!!! I will probably order around lunch time Friday...

If y'all really think we shouldn't buy it, let me know. I looked on their site and white wire that didn't have the same issue is several cents more expensive than this wire. For the same 7000 ft, it raised the price by about $350.

If it will push us over the 10,000 mark I will take 2 rolls which will help our price even better. I wasnt going to do but 1 but at this point we are so close to dropping the cost even more I would be better for 2 seeing I will need more than just one anyways.

Thanks for pushing us over the top! They only have 12000+ ft so get yours now! Maybe if we buy it all, they'll cut us still another deal!

Order is with Skycraft. They're going to work the final numbers and shipping terminal location and call me back in a little bit. So if you want any, you have another hour, maybe two (tops!) to post that you want in!

Would prefer Cash/Check so I don't lose any money on the transaction fees for PayPal.

I'll post totals here by person when I get the final info from the guys. But I expect it to be about $70-75 per roll based on the new lower price and previous shipping costs presented to us.

We'll set up a way to get the stuff to everyone once it arrives.

Glad to help. I forgot to ask Dariusz about the oxidation. I was too sidetracked with the thoughts of having all my new outlets wired up. But I sent him an email and asked what he might do. I am thinking that perhaps using some kind of switch cleaner might help. My suggestion - - Mount the plug, pull it back off and hit the holes with switch cleaner, slide the pug back together in the same exact spot. But not sure if the switch cleaner would try to break down the rubber jacket .. Anybody want to shoot some holes in this idea ?
    Thanks,

    Yes, Denny too, thanks buddy.

    Oxidation is only skin deep.
I think what Al said will hold true with the vampire plugs, they should score right through the oxidation and make good contact.

For me, no problems. The way I do it is cut the male plug off of the light string, strip the insulation back on spt2 and light string and just wire nut them together. It's cheaper and works great. A little emory cloth or fine sand paper will brighten the copper right up.

Hi Scott .. I don't know if you can still do this. But Bruce would like another 1000 feet of wire (2000 total). In case you can slip it in. I will send you an email at home also ..
    Thanks,
