I called this morning and they answered. The lady was very nice and told me that they did NOT open for local sales last year. She did tell me that I could call on Monday to find out this year's decision. They are talking about it but have not decided yet. She commented that people took advantage of them way beyond the intent of the sales in past years, and their general manager has not been happy about it every since.

I am sure that was when they huge trucks showed up (although she didn't say that)! They ruined it for all of us.

If I hear anything, I will send a TASL email instead of posting here. Our discussions about this place may have contributed to dragging in the people who caused the problem :-(

I f you have any info on Genfoam please inbox me, I would like to know if they sell to the public in the off season. I have found myself needing (wanting) a complete nativity set for my neighbor and the santa and sleigh with 10 (yes 10) deer. Thanks Don

I touched base with GF and was told they nc did not have an outlet for the general public, but I could be set up as a vendor and sold to by the VA shop but only in bulk and a 2000 dollar min order. I found a place called Americansales.com and I am gonna buy from them. they have a wide variety of blowmolds but sell out very quickly on big ticket items like the santa sleigh with deer. so I'm still looking for a sleigh and 10 deer for next season, the project I have in mind os gonna take several months to construct. I am going to start on it today after work....not sure if it will work but if I manage to pull it off its gonna be awesome. well gangnits 430 am time to go to work. remember if anyone has a sleigh or deer or any Manger pieces they want to part with let me know, I would like to put all my eggs in one basket before I start welding on theb"prototype " Don

Man I forgot about this group..sorta..fun reading back on this. I ended up making like 4 trips to Norfolk and two to Tarboro. Mostly ended up with a ton of unpainted stuff.
