Looking into 2012

Hey Everyone......Looking ahead for 2012 for Demented Elf Productions I have question for those of you that use Zara Radio or something else and broadcast beyond your display hours. With you supplying the music would you be interested in other content supplied by DEP? This would go beyond just the time and temp. It would make it sound like you had DJ's working on your station. Let me here your thoughts and ideas.

I would.. The one thing I'm hoping for is that you don't talk over the music like another internet radio station I know.... Don't mean to be disrespectful, but it is such a turn off to my wife and I.

SHouldn't be a problem. It might over the last few seconds of the song. Depends on how you have Zara set up. What I will be supplying will be just voice work. YOu will still be supplying the music.

Can this be setup imilar to a radio network, where each station has their own local spots but all of the rest is handled centrally?

Here's what I'm planning and I think it fits with what you're asking. Each hour that I provied of content will be broken down into four sections. For lack of any other bright ideas on my part they will be A-B-C-D. Sections A-B-C will be the non display specific content. Section D will be customized for each display. That can be anything from we're under construction, display hours, or a mention of the charity the display is collecting for. Section D will be meant to promote the display. Delivery of the material will probably be like it is now via email. I am going to tray and come up with a tracking system for myself so if two people near each other order the service they are getting different hours. There wil be no mention of any specific song titles in the content. So the sections can be mixed and matched as the user decides to. Here's how I'm picturing a typical hour.

00 to 15 mins song, song Seg A-1 song song Seg A-2
15 to 30 mins song, song Seg B-1 song song Seg B-2
30 to 45 mins song, song Sec C-1 song song Seg C-2
45 to 00 mins song, song Sec D-1 song song Seg D-2

The segments as long as the A's B's C's D's stay together it will be up to the user to put them into the hour could be C-A-D-B. user will will also still be able to to time/temp at will.
