Well, that was fast, MF NC has a new organizer.
Looks like I will have to finish my projects after all, ha ha.

That's good news .. I went to your link and it did not show anything. Is there another site where they hold their discussions ? If they set a date by Feb 21st, we can discuss participation at the TASL meeting.

I hope it falls on a date that I'm open. I am not available June 13 or 27 (or the full weekend of May 30th).
    Thanks,

It's an event where you can demonstrate things that you made.
There are some commercial vendors, but most participants are home makers and hobbyists.
The whole point of this event is to show off your work, even if it's odd or whacky, and to get some exposure.
You can advertise your things and services, but you cannot sell (unless you register as a commercial vendor and pay a fee.)
The things you can see at the show are arts and crafts, all kinds of electronics, battle bots (in action!) educational things, costumes, trebuchet, etc.
There are also a lot of hands on things to do, especially for kids, like learn to solder.

I hope to coordinate a Maker Faire display area for ChristmasCarolina.com depending on what date they assigned. We'll have to coordinate the lighting effects and the sequencing .. plus of course a bunch of help to set it all up with sound, and run it for the day.

I hope it does not lnad on June 13th. I was holding off helping my antique outboard club that day. But when I thought the Maker Faire would not happen, I committed to helping run that one (on Lake Reidsville, north of Greensboro).

@RobertG - any idea what date they might pick ?
    Thanks,
